And tada!!!! Here is my finished Little Ruby quilt I made using Tula Pink’s Chipper and Eden. With this pattern you use jelly rolls but for the background fabric I used what I had at home and I love the scrappiness that adds to the quilt.
I tried to not think about the placement of the background fabric placement too much. I think I like it so much better with the randomness but I know that is so hard for some of you. I would encourage you to give it a try if you can.
I wanted to use Tula’s fabric because of how bright her prints always are and the sneaky little critters hidden in her art. I know my girls are going to love this quilt. I am sure they will take it to their room to claim as their own.
I like simple quilting. I always have and I know you can do a lot of awesome quilting with this pattern but I wanted simple. I was also on a deadline and waited until the last minute like usual. I do think I would have went with simple no matter what. I am comfortable with simple and I think it gives the quilt a good amount snugglier. (that has to be a word somewhere:)
